Designed to be the ultimate Auto Fabrica Type 7, the 'X' pushes this adventure bike into the realms of the high profile one-off Auto Fabrica builds.

A totally unique off-road style has been adopted, with real function integrated into true form. The high, up-swept trials bike style exhaust compliments the Auto Fabrica trademark sand bent pipes and allows this bike to wade through deep water.

To aid the function and form of the exhaust, three elements to cool the pipe near the riders leg were integrated (a totally brilliant and off-the-wall idea that is typical of the guys at Auto Fabrica).

A traditional perforated guard was created to stop direct contact with the pipe (which is coated in a specially developed ceramic coating to transfer heat to the exhaust outlet rather than radiating in the material), as well as a secondary organically shaped heat shield. Finally, a cool air channel running through the right hand side of the tank allows fresh air to run past the riders leg and keep fuel away from high temperature areas.

This gives the bike a unique asymmetrical aesthetic and allowed the hand made tank and elements to be shaped outside of the usual rule book.
